Kiwi.com teams up with Spring Airlines to extend routes in China
Oliver Dlouhý signed the deal with the largest private Chinese low-cost carrier in Shanghai
A strategic agreement between Kiwi.com and Spring Airlines has been signed by our CEO, Oliver Dlouhý on 7 November, during a Czech Business Delegation to China led by Czech President Miloš Zeman. The deal was supported by the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Shanghai and will result in an extension of Kiwi.com’s services in China, especially the offering of new destinations.
“Thanks to this contract, Kiwi.com will be able to include exclusive destinations that are served by the largest private Chinese low-cost carrier Spring Airlines. These new Chinese destinations will be offered to our customers from all over the world,” Oliver said.
The Vice President of Spring Airlines, Zhang Wuan said that he was honoured to be the representative attending the ceremony and, on behalf of the company’s CEO, signing the contract.
Wuan said: “We are pleased to partner with Kiwi.com to give its extensive network greater access to our low fares, which we expect to translate into increased flight bookings. We are confident in Kiwi.com’s position as a regional leader to help us embrace a bigger role in the international market, bringing more travellers into China.”
The opening ceremony of the Czech Innovation Expo in Shanghai was attended by Oliver and also the Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs, Tomáš Petříček.
